Intervention by the Aboriginal Support Services Unit is available to patients and their families who attend the Alice Springs Hospital. The Unit is led by Acting-Manager, Christine Spencer and is part of the Allied Health group. It has a staff of eight, who speak a devise range of languages that cover Central Australia. Patients can access the Services a number of ways including: directly approaching the unit, a referral from inside the hospital or a referral from a service outside the hospital.
