Ahead of the Game: Psychiatry and Indigenous Health

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) have an advanced response to the challenges facing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. Dr Murray Patton, President of the College, talks about RANZCP’s development and use of Indigenous health policy and a reconciliation plan, which guides their work. This has led to the implementation of cultural competency education for trainees and Fellows.
